I chose the issue about consumers’ responsibility when replacing old electronics to make a cohesive informational set of a poster, magazine spreads, and a website. I chose this topic to highlight the massive
amounts of e-waste that are produced yearly. Cell phones are so easily overlooked because the market bombards consumers with new models every one and a half years.

Appealing to a broader age group, I want the infographic to have a friendlier approach by using icons instead of photographic imagery to highlight this “scientific” topic.

The information discusses the problem through different statistics and graphs and suggests a possible solution.

The textures used in all three mediums are indicative of an unpleasant and disappointing
result, related to consumers’ unwillingness to be responsible with electronic gadgets.
