This project offers a design solution to a national and cultural souvenir of Germany, the beer boot, as the country prides itself with the quality of their
beer. I took inspiration from the traditional characteristics of the culture, and modernized it.
An advantage to this packaging is that it is conveniently assembled from a single printed sheet.

I translated the decorative lines seen on traditional German house facades into the die-cut element of the packaging, while the pointed handle mimics
the tall roofs of the houses. The logo takes on the characteristics of traditional German writing, resembling the pointed and curved parts of the
letters. I wrapped around the text on the back, to encourage the viewer to turn the box. The bubbles on the inside, as well as the color choice, hint at
the beer itself.

Other components include the coaster and stationery set. Both are kept clean in design, but each still reflects the style of the packaging box.
The brand name, beste für bier, means “best for beer” in German.
